Born in York, Pennsylvania, Kim graduated from Townson University with a BS in Accounting.
She began her career as a staff accountant working for both Transamerica insurance then later at Ernst & Young.
It was during this time that she gained her CPA status.
In 1997, Kim accepted an Accounting Management position with Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.
After gathering as much experience as possible from the industry, Kim entered into partnership with another local CPA in 1999.
