Dawn grew up in Franklin, Wisconsin, and attended Marquette University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She started her career in Milwaukee with Ernst & Young LLP, and transferred to their Tampa, Florida office when she relocated with her husband in 2001. After starting a family, she went back to school to obtain her Masters in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
Dawn has twenty years of accounting experience in both the public and private sector. She started her career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, LLP, where she specialized in the audit and SEC reporting of manufacturing companies and employee benefit plans. She then worked in private industry as a Vice-President of a local Tampa bank before moving to the SEC reporting group of a Fortune 50 company.
For five years before starting the Firm, Dawn was the Chief Financial Officer for both a Tampa technology company as well as a growing telecom company. Dawn is a certified public accountant licensed by both the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, and the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services.
