Founded by Zach Nichols, the firm has provided nationwide business consulting and tax preparation from our Greenville office since 2019. Given our unique expertise and the efficiency of virtual relationships, our clients are primarily in North Carolina, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C. We use secure client portals to safely exchange financial information, giving you access to excellent service and advice, while saving you time and resources.

In-person appointments are nice, even better with donuts, but are not required. Yes, hugs and handshakes cannot be replaced, but phone calls, emails and video-conferencing allow great communication without chewing up a bunch of your time. Tax Cuts & Jobs Act of 2017 and pass-thru tax breaks (Section 199A Qualified Business Income Deduction). Outside of typical business services, consultation and tax preparation, we have focused on three niche competencies for our Greenville based practice.

We protect the fortress by not doing everything, but everything we do, we do very well.
Services
Zach has had a winding path to end up in public accounting.
When he graduated from the University of Alabama, he was dating Blaire long distance, and knew that he didn't want a career in sales.
So he left Tuscaloosa and went back to work at the summer camp in western North Carolina where he and Blaire had spent the previous three summers.
Blaire and Zach stayed on year round at the camp for four years, both becoming program directors.
They eventually felt the need to move on, and chose Greenville, NC, Blaire's hometown.
Starting and running a small business can be very challenging, but very exciting.
Probably more of a pain in the butt, yet most business owners start a company to do something they love.
That passion can be a great motivator, but it can also be a detractor.
Proper small business tax preparation and planning, recordkeeping of your business tax deductions and money handling is a must.
This is just the operational stuff- you also have to consider entity structure, exit strategies, risk mitigation, retirement planning and all that hoopla.
For individual tax returns, I competitively offer a simple fee range of $300 to $650.
Before you freak out and swipe left, my fee includes August financial tune-ups including my expertise in complicated tax matters.
Think of the fee range as easy, medium and hard.
Having said that, I try to maintain historical fees for returning clients.
Your tax preparation fee is not dependent on the number of forms used to prepare your tax returns.
That's old school.
Rather your fee will depend on the amount of time required to accurately and comprehensively prepare your tax returns.
We offer part time accounting leadership for your business on an outsourced basis.
I can guide you through the process of identifying pain points, profit margins, and potential growth, with an eye on the future as well as the bottom line.
Due to hands-on skills and deep accounting experience, a part-time controller is an ideal choice for a small company that can't justify a full-time controller.
Unlike the long recruiting process for a full time employee, a part-time controller is usually available for duty within a week and will be goal, task, and results focused from day one.
The quality of your tax return and the timeliness of its preparation depend strongly on obtaining all your tax documents and information.
As more companies move to electronic delivery of their tax documents and statements, this checklist will help ensure you are not missing important tax documentation.
