She attended Humboldt State University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She began her career in Sacramento and worked as a tax accountant for a local CPA firm while earning her CPA certificate.
Before starting her own practice, Kellie also worked as a tax accountant for a large real estate developer, becoming experienced in accounting for real estate entities, partnerships, and their related tax issues. She was the consultant on numerous 1031 exchanges for the real estate developer and property management company. When she is not happily preparing your tax return, Kellie enjoys hiking, kayaking, travel, and rueda dancing.
She is an avid fan of the SF Giants, San Antonio Spurs, and local theater groups.
