To encourage a professional level of competence, character and integrity by providing continuing professional education to increase the knowledge and efficiency of its members. To represent the accounting and tax professionals at the state and national levels and protect the right to practice.

To seek the enactment of laws and the corrections or modification of existing laws in the interest of the profession and the general public. To alert members to some of the significant developments in tax laws in the interest of the profession. To publicize the achievements of individual members through appropriate national, state and local media.

To serve as a clearing house for the dissemination of timely information on all matters of interest to accountants in public practice.

The Montana Society of Public Accountants, MSPA, is the accountant's and tax professional's must have membership.
Not only are our members CPA's and EA's, we are the licensed organization for both accountants and tax professionals.
We offer professional, live continuing education that goes beyond the basics to assist your company's growth and expansion.
With live continuing education, you have the opportunity to network with your peers at a membership discount!
MSPA is also actively watching your back on the political horizon the accounting and tax professional field.
A. Those possessing a valid license as a Certified Public Accountant, Licensed Public Accountant, or such title as State Law may grant for the practice of accounting for the public.
B. Those who are enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, or accredited in accounting, or taxation by the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation.
Those individuals who have completed the requirements for and are certified as Registered Tax Preparers by the Internal Revenue Service.
Maintain an office for the rendition of Accounting as a Sole Proprietor, Partner, or a Corporate Officer, and.
MSPA Workshop and Seminar Registration - please call the number listed for each seminar to get specific transfer or cancellation information.
Transfers - a request to transfer to another location at no charge MUST be made TWO WEEKS prior to the confirmed seminar reservation date.
Otherwise a $25 fee will be charged.
Transfers qualify for MSPA seminars and workshops only.
Cancellations - a $50 fee is charged for cancellation within two weeks of the scheduled seminars.
NO refunds or transfers will be issued after the seminar begins.
