Thomas holds undergraduate degrees in Accounting, Economics and Finance and a Master's Degree in Taxation from Bentley University. He also earned a Certification as a Tax Specialist and was a member of the Omicron Delta Epsilon Honor Society in Economics while at Bentley.
After graduating, Thomas worked for both Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse in the audit and taxation divisions prior to starting the practice in 1989. Thomas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA Small Business, Private Practice and Tax Divisions and the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center.
Thomas is also a member of the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, appointed to State Taxation Committee and is a founding member of ERISA Audit Committee. Thomas stays active in the community as he has served as the treasurer and Board Member for the Dorchester Boys & Girls Club of Boston, the Dover Sherborn Boosters and as a finance Council Member of his local church.
