James and Hardy was organized in 1988 by Roy James and Lonnie Hardy. In 2002, Phillip Haley was admitted to the partnership and the firm became James, Hardy, and Haley. Coming from a large-firm environment, compelled us to create an accounting and consulting firm that was smaller and leaner. A more intimate environment allows us to be focused on the service we take most seriously - satisfying our clients' needs.
Over the years, we have been very successful in recruiting and maintaining a highly talented group of professional consultants, accountants, and CPAs. Since our founding, the firm continues to enjoy a sustained, robust growth as evidenced by the budding number of satisfied clients. Our clients' needs, concerns, and suggestions are our first priority.

Phillip Haley, CPA has worked in the accounting industry for over 25 years.
He began his career in the tax department at KPMG, upon graduating from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree as well as a Master of Business Administration.
After 9 years as a Senior Manager at KPMG, Phil joined the James, Hardy, and Haley firm, where he became partner in 2002.
His areas of focus include but are not limited to: preparation of tax returns for business, individual, trusts and estates, and nonprofits; tax and estate planning; personal financial services, developing and maintaining successful client business relationships; business consulting; attestation services of compilations, financial statement reviews, and audits; forensic accounting; internal control projects.
