Pat has over 35 years of experience in the government industry.
He started his career with a large Pennsylvania county as an internal auditor in the Controller's office and moved into the position of the Accounting Manager for several years.
He then left the county to join KPMG Peat Marwick to specialize in serving governmental clients in the audit practice.
After working for KPMG Peat Marwick for 8 years, Pat moved to Zelenkofske Axelrod LLC to establish a governmental practice.
Pat's responsibility for audits of governmental clients spans from a small borough to a large county.

Responsibilities include engagement planning, conducting risk assessment procedures, designing audit programs, leading audit teams, training staff, preparing audit workpapers, detail reviewing workpapers prepared by staff, preparing financial statements, overseeing single audit teams, and preparing audit findings and recommendations.
They work closely with clients, audit teams, and firm management.
Associate Auditors are involved in planning field work and financial statement preparation of audit engagements.
