My name is Lyssa and I am the owner of Virago Accounting. I am a CPA based in Wisconsin. I am a proud alumnus of the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, where I attended while my husband was stationed at Ft. Wainwright, AK. I have been working in the accounting field for 17 years, starting my career bookkeeping for a family-owned business in California.
Since then I have worked in several states in the public and private sectors. I started Virago Accounting, LLC in 2019 in the hopes to do something different than what I had previously seen in my field. My goals are to not only provide outstanding services to clients but also to educate them so that they are armed with the information they need to make the most important business decisions and grow their business.
She is currently a student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (my alma mater) and is working towards her degree in Accounting. She plans on sitting for her CPA exam shortly after graduation. Megan is outdoorsy, she loves hiking fishing, and camping.
