Shin-Yong Kang graduated from Seoul National University and spent several years working at a brokerage firm. In the 1980's, Shin-Yong Kang immigrated to the United States with dreams of a better life. He knew America was a land of opportunity and a country where he can achieve success through hard work and determination. When Shin-Yong Kang arrived in America, few acknowledged his degree from a Korean university or his work experience at a Korean firm.
He faced prejudice and numerous rejections, but he refused to give up. He enlisted in the United States Army, where he proudly served for 5 years. While in the Army, he enrolled in the University of Maryland and earned a bachelor's degree in business administration. After his honorable discharge, he pursued a career in accounting. Since starting his firm in 1992, Shin-Yong Kang has served thousands of individuals and business owners, providing accounting services, tax advice, and business consulting.
Today, the firm services a broad client base from many different industries, including but not limited to wholesalers and retailers, gas stations, hotels, homeowners association, non-profit entities, and entertainers.
