I'm basically a tax geek! Prior to starting my own firm, I was Director of Tax Services for Ernst & Young in Reno. I also worked in the Los Angeles and Portland, Oregon offices of Ernst & Young's predecessor firm Arthur Young & Co. For five years, we lived in Bend, Oregon where I was a partner in a local firm. I also was a faculty member at Portland State University teaching accounting and tax classes for two years.
I hold a B.S. degree in accounting from California State University-Chico. My areas of specialization include, if it is possible to specialize with this crazy tax code: corporation, S corporation, LLC, partnership, trust and individual taxation.
