Here's something you may not know: CPAs have never simply been number crunchers. They are actually business and financial strategists that help your business chart the path to profitability. Most companies turn to a CPA for tax and financial planning services, estate planning, investment advice, etc., but business owners are now engaging CPAs to also help diversify product lines and move their company to greater profitability.

Not all tax filing or accounting services have the expertise of a CPA, so it's important to choose your Bellingham CPA carefully. CPAs understand how businesses operate and can consult with business owners and managers on a variety of issues, from increasing profitability to identifying fraud risks. Many CPAs prepare taxes for their clients and leave it at that.

Our firm gives you direction on where your business is headed from a broader perspective. This allows you to adjust your goals and focus on what is most important to your business. CPAs can also assist with implementing internal control procedures, adopt accounting best practices, and help complete complex business transactions such as leasing arrangements, factoring receivables and valuing inventory.
