Forrest & Company, Inc. is an accountancy corporation which was founded by Bart W. Forrest, a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California. Prior to founding this firm, Bart worked for over 8 years with Deloitte & Touche in the Los Angeles and Orange County offices. He also spent 2 1/2 years with the Mortgage and Asset Securities division of Bank of America in Costa Mesa, California managing a tax department.
The motivation for starting his own firm grew from a desire to become a full-service advocate for his clients and to provide big firm experience at a small firm price. The practice has achieved this goal by providing accounting and tax services to a wide range of business and individual clients.
Through the years, the firm has consulted with businesses on company dispositions, managed Internal Revenue Service audits, State of California sales tax audits, EDD audits, and income tax audits, in addition to providing tax compliance services (income tax preparation) and financial statement preparation (compiled and reviewed financial statements).
