I liked growing up working at my parents' Clayton Marina on the St. Lawrence River.
That's why I began college as a business major.
But after one of my professors complimented me on my strength in accounting, I changed majors from business to accounting.
Getting my CPA was perfect for me because I still enjoy working with so many different businesses.
At Gustafson and Wargo we're interested in solving the problems our clients have that keep them up at night.
Seven of our twelve staff members are CPAs and we've experienced practically every business problem there is.
That's why I began college as a business major.

She joined Gustafson & Co. right after graduation and has been there ever since.
She's now a partner working from the Utica office.
Her expertise is in small business accounting, governmental audits, and counseling clients with advice on small business.
Liz and her two children live in Whitesboro, New York.
Her hobbies revolve around the kids: field hockey, karate, volleyball, orchestra, cheerleading and more.
She also teaches religious education at Our Lady of Lourdes parish in Utica, NY.
