When you have an idea or a product that you want to develop as a business, the first decision to make is the type of entity to organize in which to operate your business.
We can help you with this important decision.
Your choices range from operating as a sole proprietor (you doing business as XYZ Company), to Limited Liability Company (LLC), partnership and corporation (S or C corporations).
We can explain the differences, including tax differences, and help you make the right decision.
It is natural for you to get a little nervous when you receive an unexpected letter from the government.
We can and want to help.
The first task is to read the correspondence and to understand what is the issue or what the government has in mind.
Once that is accomplished, we develop a strategy to respond, keeping in mind the due date of the response.
A bank levy is issued by the IRS when your taxes remain unpaid and you haven't been able to resolve the problem.
The IRS will freeze your account up to the amount you owe including penalties and interest.
The IRS is a fierce and determined collection agency.
When a levy is issued it is often the result of poor or even lack of communication between taxpayers and the IRS.
We will work with the IRS to ensure that future levies are not issued, we will work to obtain a hold on your account to protect you from future enforced collection, then we will review your tax matter and recommend the best course of action.
