Criswell CPA was formed in 2019 and offered a host of services including tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, consulting and more. By 2020 these services were merged with DC CPAs, PLLC for the purpose of providing a greater experience for our clients. Criswell CPA now offers auditing and attest services exclusively. Our mission is to perform our professional duties to the best of our ability in an ethical, professional, and objective manner.
Criswell CPA was a dream and an idea conceived during my time at a local accounting firm. I worked as a clerk and assistant while studying for my accounting degree at Cameron University. I graduated from Cameron in 2013 and jumped into the government sector where I worked as an entry-level accountant before being promoted to the finance director. Hungry for more experience, I moved to the industry sector and worked at a fortune 500 as an entry-level accountant before being promoted to a staff accountant.
I started studying for the CPA exam in late 2018 while working full time and navigating closing periods and year-end checklist for US and Canada.
