South Hills Tax & Accounting was formed to serve individuals and small business that can no longer do it themselves and need real advise.

Our clients always deal directly with their case manager and will always talk to a real person.
Kevin is a U.S. Army veteran who started his accounting career in 2003 after graduating from Robert Morris University.
All tax compliance is performed by a Certified Public Accountant with over 15 years of experience in various industries.
We have experience with individuals, corporations, S-Corps, and partnerships; we know what, when, and where taxes need to be filed.
Fines and penalties can accrue very quickly and the resulting letters and notices can be very intimidating.
We can sort through the notices and get to the root of the problem and resolve the issue as quickly and painlessly as possible.
And we always offer a free face-to-face consultation, so you won't need to make a deal over the phone with a national firm on the other side of the country.
Answer: The IRS sends notices and letters for the many reasons, not limited to the following: you have a balance due, your refund has been adjusted, the IRS changed your return based on conflicting information, and many others.
The important thing is to read and understand the entire notice.
You may agree with the IRS's changes and no action is necessary.
But if you don't agree, you need to know how to respond and be able to substantiate your position.
Answer: Knowing your taxpayer rights gives you leverage when resolving your IRS problems.
