Joseph Gordillo was born and raised in Hayward, California. After high school he attended the University of California, Berkeley where, in 1983, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Joe entered the CPA profession immediately upon his graduation from CAL, and thereafter passed the CPA exam and received his license as a Certified Public Accountant from the State of California.
In 1992, after having spent nine years working for large local and regional CPA firms in San Francisco and the Peninsula, Joe started the firm Joseph E. Gordillo, CPA, A Professional Corporation in Dublin, California. The firm provides tax and accounting services to individuals and businesses involved in a variety of service and manufacturing industries.
In addition to the usual tax and accounting services, Joe's expertise as a CPA has been used to assist clients with business start-up issues, multi state tax filing requirements, tax audit representation and expert witnessing in litigation related matters.
