Austin is an Ocala, FL native who started out his college education at Central Florida Community College.
After receiving his AA degree in 2002, he moved to Fort Myers, FL where he received his bachelors in Accounting in 2004 and a Master's degree in Accounting and Taxation in 2007 from Florida Gulf Coast University.
In 2005, he started his career in public accounting in Naples, FL working for a national accounting firm and was there for several years before moving back to Ocala, FL.
