Michael D. Smith, CPA- Originally hailing from New Jersey, I have been a Floridian since age 4 and a Lee County resident for the past 18 years.
I currently reside in SW Cape Coral with my wife Debbie who is a Lee County school teacher, and my son Michael who attends Cape Elementary.
I branched out to start MDS Accounting in late 2015 after working for a premier Fort Myers CPA firm for just over 10 years.
During my time with the firm I did everything from bookkeeping and personal tax return preparation, all the way through to the more complex auditing and corporate tax return engagements.
