He holds a BA from Vanderbilt University, an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, a J.D. from Duke University Law School, and an LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1979. Michael G. Falk began his career at a mid-sized law firm where he concentrated on estate planning and administration for high net-worth individuals until 1983.
From 1983 to 1989, he was the tax manager for a mid-sized public CPA firm. From 1989 through 2001, Michael G. Falk was the tax partner in Falk & Fisher CPAs. Since 2001, Michael G. Falk's practice has been focused on representing and advising clients with tax issues. Michael G. Falk is a member of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, American College of Forensic Examiners, the New Jersey Bar Association (taxation and bankruptcy sections) and the Turnaround Management Association.
He also is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
