John co-founded Skinnon and Faber, CPA's, P.C. in 1991. In addition to his responsibilities as a partner in the firm, John was also the Chair of the Department of Accounting and an Assistant Professor at St. Joseph's College in Patchogue. John's guidance and kindness aided both clients and students in many ways. John was always available to answer a question or solve a problem.
He worked diligently, was sincere and had a grand sense of humor. In an effort to continue his good work, we are working on establishing a scholarship fund to benefit accounting students at St. Joseph's College. John was instrumental in establishing the framework for the firm, a full service public accounting firm. His long-term efforts will enable our partners and staff to continue to provide quality service to all our clients.
