We were founded in 1974 and are located near downtown Seattle in the Belltown neighborhood.

Lynn is a Certified Public Accountant in Washington and holds a Masters in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
In 1984, she joined Ward & Company, the firm her father founded in 1977.
She began managing the firm in the mid-1990s and in 2011 Lynn completed her father's retirement plan by buying out his interest.
She is currently the sole owner of the firm.
While obtaining her degree in economics from the University of Washington Lynn earned her keep by working in various small businesses doing bookkeeping.

After a short beginning at the IRS she joined Arthur Andersen in Los Angeles and has been in public accounting ever since.
She moved from Andersen to Coopers & Lybrand (Los Angeles and then Chicago) to act as a key player in their newly revamped Services to Executives Abroad worldwide team.
During this time Teri spent a lot of very enjoyable time traveling overseas.
She has specialized in the tax arena for over 35 years, with over a decade with the big-four.

Matt comes from South Everett originally and grew up in the shadow of the Boeing complex.
He has lived in Seattle since attending the University of Washington, where he received a B.A. in Business Administration (with an Accounting Concentration) and his Masters of Professional Accounting Degree in Taxation.
He has spent a number of years in the taxation field and has diverse experience in federal and state taxation for both individuals and businesses, and in a large variety of industries.
His career includes tax preparation and review, extensive tax research and IRS and state audit defense, appeals and protests.
