He has twenty five plus years of practical experience working with businesses which includes various client assignments with local, regional, and "Big 4" accounting firms.
Mr. Szczypka specializes in the taxation and small business consulting services areas.
He is a CPA, CFP, and is a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Myler & Szczypka, P.C. formerly known as Myler & Associates, P.C. (the Company) began in May of 1989 when David Myler, left Deloitte, Haskins and Sells, and started a sole proprietorship with no clients.
The Company first offered accounting, audit, tax and consulting services, specializing in providing services to small businesses.
Ken Szczypka joined Mr. Myler and the firm in 2004 as a principal and provided additional value added services to the current and growing client base.
Today the Company employs eleven employees and serves over 1000 clients providing core accounting services.

We currently provide audit and review services to over 200 CIRAs.
Our specialization has enabled us to design a very efficient and effective audit approach.
We are versed in fund accounting, replacement study requirements, and the Michigan Condominium Act.
Our experience and knowledge of the CIRA industry allows us the ability to provide services at reasonable fees.
We also have experience preparing the federal and state tax returns for the CIRA industry.
