A CPA since 1994, Jim has worked for one of the "Big Four" accounting firms as well as another mid-tier firm, where his client base has been exclusively the non-profit and government sectors, including school districts, counties, and municipalities, as well as non-profit entities organized as both 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 statuses.
He also has experience in the private sector with Northern Trust and Exelon.
Jim has presented on numerous governmental and non-profit accounting and auditing topics to groups such as the Illinois CPA Society, the Illinois Governmental Finance Officers Association, and the Illinois Association of School Business Officials.
