Taylor+Lord Associates was founded in 1982 by Robert Taylor and Carolyn Lord as a full service accounting and bookkeeping firm. We have developed a specialization in the not-for-profit and arts community, working for many organizations, foundations and individuals in the arts. Prior to starting our company, both of us worked as controllers, primarily in the legal field.
Carolyn studied accounting at Pace University and Robert studied at Baruch and New York University.

We serve as full charge bookkeepers, providing many clients with general ledger service in our office from records provided to us.
For those clients who have in-house programs, we make on site visits using their existing systems.
As accountants, we provide tax reporting and financial statements for corporations, including C, S, and LLC's; partnerships, including LLP's and sole proprietorships.
We also specialize in individual tax preparation, and in addition work with estates and trusts, and do payroll administration for small businesses.
