Taxes not paid in full by the original due date of the return (regardless of extensions of time to file) may also result in the failure-to-pay penalty.

We can help you assess if you qualify and if so, set an up agreement between you and the IRS to settle the debt.
While filing tax documents can often be a hassle, you don't have to do it by yourself.
Our clients who have relied on tax software to prepare their taxes online in the past often attest that nothing beats the personal touch of a local tax professional.
Our CPA firm located in the Triangle provides superior income tax preparation for businesses and individuals.
We care about every client so we work hard to maximize your tax savings.
As regulations change, we identify new deductions and incentives that can reduce your overall tax burden and bring you a higher tax return.
First, you should determine if the letter is correct, i.e., if the IRS says you owe money, are they correct?
A lot of companies advertise that they can do this; however, this is only possible in limited instances and only if you meet the criteria for an Offer in Compromise.
Sometimes the total amount owed can be reduced through penalty abatement.
The only time you will go to jail is for tax evasion, including not filing tax returns or willfully not paying taxes on earned income.
Only CPAs, Enrolled Agents (EAs) and attorneys can represent the taxpayer before the IRS.
