In July of 2011, I decided to Upgrade our bookkeeping system and utilized the services of Kimberly Applewhite.
For years, we had been keeping our books the old fashioned way.
Checks were written by hand by an assistant which would take about four to six hours every week.
A ledger was kept to keep track of money coming in and out.
And an old fashioned bookkeeper was paid to come every week to record all distributions and payments received.
Although this system worked, it was time consuming and inefficient.
