Mark and Marsha Patterson grew up in Colorado and met as accounting students at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (thanks to a good friend of ours). After graduation and passing the CPA exam, we moved to Denver so that Mark could pursue his Masters degree in Taxation at the University of Denver. A year later, we were off to Phoenix to start our careers.
After starting our family in Phoenix, we decided to come back to Colorado Springs. We've been back since 2002 and we're happy to be back. Colorado Springs is a great place to raise a family and a beautiful place to live. In late 2010 Mark and Marsha decided to start their own CPA firm called MAP CPAs, LLP. After 3 successful years, we're excited to announce that Marilue Beverly joined us and the firm was renamed M3 and Associates, LLP.
Marilue brings over 20 years of tax experience and will be a tremendous addition for current and future clients. We're looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you as we work to help you with your tax and financial matters.

When Marsha and I lived in Phoenix years ago, we had a wiener dog.
With both Marsha and I being CPAs, our dog was named "Equity".
For fundraising, Cerebral Palsy in Phoenix was doing an annual race at the greyhound park called the Wiener Nationals remember the Miller Lite commercials where the dogs are drag racing and a parachute pops out when they cross the finish line?

The Wiener Nationals was a 50 yard sprint for the little wieners.
At the starting line, 1 owner puts their dog into the starting gate (this was Marsha).
