John Waddell founded our firm in 1953, and was joined shortly thereafter by his wife, Fern.
Both John and Fern were pioneers in establishing the public accounting profession, both locally and nationwide.
John was involved in establishing nationwide professional standards that govern financial reporting of compilations and reviews.
Fern followed in John's footsteps, and was the first female president of the Sacramento Chapter of the Society of CPAs.

Debbie joined John Waddell & Co., CPAs in 1989 and is the Director responsible for the Firm's audit practice.
Debbie is a member of both the American Institute of CPA's and the California Society of CPA's.
She is currently the chair of the California Society of CPAs Peer Review Committee, the body responsible for monitoring CPA firm compliance with professional standards in California, Arizona & Alaska.
She is also a past member of the Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee of the California Society of CPA's.
