We are a Certified Public Accounting firm based in Columbus, OH. In the late 1930's Edmund M. Kagay started his practice. Rodger W. Schellhaas, CPA, joined the firm in 1968 and is the senior partner in the firm. Together they formed Kagay & Schellhaas CPA's in 1978. Jeffrey C. Schellhaas, CPA, joined the firm in 1990 upon graduating from The Ohio State University.
While we provide a wide range of accounting and tax services to a variety of clients, our primary focus is working with family and closely held business to handle their tax compliance and planning. We also work with our clients and their other advisors in the areas of estate and succession planning; including family wealth transfer, preservation planning, charitable giving, and retirement planning.
