After working in public accounting for 14 years, Christy decided to take the plunge and open her own firm.
At 5 years old, Christy started "working" at her mom's restaurant and quickly developed a fondness for calculators, adding up boxes of receipts on her mom's adding machine.
By high school, she was helping her mom with the day-to-day banking and bookkeeping.
Recognizing her passion for numbers, Christy moved to Austin to attend college.
With a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting from St. Edwards University and a Master's of Professional Accounting with a Concentration in Taxation from the University of Texas at Austin, she gained all of the experience necessary to open her own firm while working at local public accounting firms.
