The year 2021 marks the 73rd year of service to the public by McPherson, Goodrich, Paolucci & Mihelich PC and its predecessor accounting firms. It was in 1948 that William G. McDonald Jr. moved to Pueblo to open a public accounting office.
Since that time, we have participated in several mergers and acquisitions that brought us to our present day practice. Our location in Southern Colorado has never been a limiting factor in our practice. Audit and tax clients have included individuals and entities in almost every state. The overall tax rates were reduced but there were many changes that could increase taxable income, thereby eliminating the perceived tax reduction due to the reduced rates.
However, for 2018, as we have the past four years, we are required to obtain information and include the information relating to health insurance coverage for you, your spouse and any child under the age of 26.

The $5,000 deduction is reduced by any start-up or organizational costs which exceed $50,000.
